I'm happy to have been invited to the Spatial Audio Gathering at DMU organized by Stefan Catena among others. Other speakers include Simon Emmerson.
I met Stefano first when he was a guest PhD in my department in the summer of 2023. I supervised him when he worked on a piece in our Lilla Salen which we later played in concert. We had many interesting discussion on the topic of spatialisation that led to a paper that we submitted for SMC 2024. I believe Stefano has an interesting approach to the way he develops the spatiality in his material, not so different to how I have worked in recent years.
